Kimchi Hot Pot

My lunch today is simple Kimchi pot with rice. The main ingredient is just kimchi and hot bean paste. The recipe includes chopped garlic, spring onions, cut chillies, pork for shabu shabu and egg. Basically, you can just add in whatever you like such as prawns, hotdogs etc.

First, I will warm the pot and add in sesame oil. Of course, if you have korea sesame oil will be nicer. Once hot, add in kimchi and stir fry. Then I add in chopped garlic and meat together to stir fry slightly then add in hot bean paste. Mixed the paste evenly and continue frying until the meat is slightly cooked then add in sliced chilli and add water and bring to a boil. Once boiled, add in beaten egg and put spring onions on top and simmer for 5 mins. Served hot with a few sprinkle of sesame oil.

I did not put in any measurements because everything is added according to your own preference. If you like to eat kimchi or saltish soup then add more of kimchi and hot paste. If you like hot stuff like me then add in chilli powder before simmering.

A very easy tasty meal.
