Pregnancy - Yes or No

Just did my blood test 17dpo and the hcg level came back at 16.6. By standard if the hcg level is past 25, then safely you can said that "Yes, I am pregnant." However, the cruel part here is that mine is either here or there. I am sure I can handle the disappointment if the nurse just inform me off the board that "Sorry, the blood test result is negative" but now if I am told that I have a chemical pregnancy is totally a different thing. Which means I have a miscarriage in the very early stage.

The nurse told me to retake my blood test 4 days later on Friday. Today, is only Tuesday and I already feel so insecure about the whole thing. 

Dear God, please do not be so cruel to me. Please do not give and take it away from me.

HCG, please rise. Menses, please stay away from me.
